2007 Dartmoor Jailbreak & Rollercoaster Challenge
April 2007
Dream-A-Way Record Breakers 2007 'escaped' from Dartmoor Prison (on a skateboard) during the
Annual Vranch House Dartmoor Jailbreak on Saturday 21st April 2007.
The Dream-A-Way team was: Bob Beer, Chris Beer, Mike Gale, Claire Clatworthy and Ben Clatworthy.
The team travelled to Blackpool in a Chrysler Voyager kindly donated for the trip by
David Freeman of MITIE Group, who Dream-A-Way would like to thank.
The team stayed at Marton Mere Haven Holiday Park, in caravans kindly sponsored by Haven Holidays at Sandy Bay.
Thanks to Christine Terry.

The team set 2 new records, one for riding on Blackpool trams and for being the first team to 'kidnap' a Mayor.
Thanks to Blackpool Councillor Allan Matthews and his assistant Aat Karel for being great sports and allowing us to carry out the kidnap.
In addition the team rode on most of the roller coasters at the Blackpool Pleasure Beach and got very wet on the log flumes!

The sponsorship raised over £500 - half for Vranch House and half for Dream-A-Way.
