Ladies Golf Event 2007

The 5th Annual Ladies Golf Day promised to improve on previous years, and it certainly did that!

This year's event has continued to ensure the tournament goes from strength to strength,
since its beginnings at The Fingle Glen Golf Club.

In 2005 we moved the golf day to The Stover Golf Club near Newton Abbot where the event has seen an ever increasing number of teams wishing to play. Regent Inns have sponsored the event from its days at Fingle Glen and followed us to our new venue, we have also had individual hole sponsors that have done likewise.

In 2006 Andalucian Golf very generously donated golfing breaks, and the first winners of these had wonderful golfing holidays.
Andalucian continue to support us in 2007.

 

In addition to the days events, it was also our Chairman's birthday, which he celebrated in style.

With a capacity field, we had this year for our players a chocolate fountain, a most unusual special draw and a large bottle draw - all this combined with special individual competitions out on the golf course.

 

The day was a superb boost for Dream-A-Way raising over £3000

 

Sir John, ready as always to assist whenever he can.
