Eddie Ashton's Supreme 24 Hour Darts Marathon
Polsloe and Priory Conservative Club (Exeter) hosted a
24 hour darts Marathon at the weekend.
The Officers, committee and staff supported the darts players lead by
Eddie (Supreme) Ashton of Supreme Cleaning.
In Eddie's team were Taaf Baldwin, Ray & Paul Lashbrook, John Harry,Harry Evans and Donna & Paul Dunn.
They battled through the day and night to finish triumphant at 2pm on Sunday May 27th 2007. Various fundraising events and sponsorship raised an amazing total of more than £2,700 for Dream-A-Way. All of the money raised will be directly used to pay for holidays and outings for disabled people.
Dream-A-Way Chairman, Jeff Merrett MBE praised the efforts of Eddie and his team in raising such a magnificent total.
He thanked everyone involved in supporting the event, especially officers and members of the club.
