Kart Racers On The Go For City Charity
14th January 2008
Teams are wanted for a monthly indoor karting endurance race in aid of a city charity.
Raceworld, at Woodbury, near Exeter, is hosting the next event on February 6, to raise cash for Dream-A-Way. It runs from 6.15pm.
The event is a two-hour race with half-hour practice, on state-of-the-art 200cc petrol go-karts with a maximum speed of 45pm.
All proceeds will help Dream-A-Way, an Exeter charity run entirely by volunteers, which arranges holidays for seriously ill or disabled people of all ages from across the South West.
Another race eveing will be held for the charity on March 5.
It costs £120 per team, with a maximum of six drivers. Contact Jeff Merrett on 07796 442144 to enter.
