Exeter Chiefs Fans Dig Deep
25th March 2008
Generous rugby fans have donated more than £1,000 to provide holidays for
seriously ill or disabled people in the Westcountry.
A collection in aid of Dream-A-Way totalled more than £1,050 at the Exeter Chiefs' home game against
Cornish All Blacks at Sandy Park earlier this month.
The money will be spent on the charity's work providing holidays and day trips for
seriously ill or disabled people of all ages from right across the South West.
Sir John Evans, the charity's Patron, has praised those who donated the money.
Sir John, a former Chief Constable of Devon and Cornwall police, said:
"I want to send my thanks to all those who took part in achieving such a magnificent result."
Dream-A-Way wish to thank Sandy Park and Exeter Chiefs for their continued support.
