Dream-A-Way / "Off The Peg" Fashion Show
The Civil Service Club, Exwick hosted the first ever Dream-A-Way Fashion Show on Thursday 19th April 2007.
The models were all friends of Dream-A-Way who entered into the spirit of the evening with gusto,
and had the audience in fits of laughter - Kate Moss, watch out!
Paula from Visage came along and assisted the models with their make-up and outfits.
A huge thank you to all the models who appeared to havethoroughly enjoyed themselves!
Dream-A-Way Chairman Jeff Merrett, and committee member Ray Lashbrook donned their DJ's and welcomed everyone upon arrival, and ensured everyone was suitably refreshed with their first drink - which was included in the cost of the entry fee.
The evening was extremely well supported, and in excess of £500 was raised for Dream-A-Way.
This was made up from the draw, entry fee, and a percentage from the sale of clothes.
The clothes were presented by Sidmouth company "Off The Peg".
So successful was our first show, that a winter collection may be the next attraction!
