Friends of Dream-A-Way
What is it?
The Friends of Dream-A-Way ("Friends") group was created to enable anyone who wants to support Dream-A-Way to achieve its objectives.
This is especially useful for those who may not have enough time to commit themselves to being a Dream-A-Way committee member.
What do Friends do?
Friends can help Dream-A-Way in lots of ways including:
* Attending fundraising events
* Helping at social functions
* Selling tickets for fundraising events
* Selling draw tickets
* Placing collecting boxes in shops or retail outlets
* Providing draw prizes
* Providing auction items
* Collecting stamps and toner cartridges
* Collecting old mobile phone handsets
* Direct financial donations
How do I become a Friend?
To become an Friend of Dream-A-Way, download a copy of the Friends application form.
Alternatively, please phone Jeff on 01392 823998 to obtain an application form.
It costs a one off payment of £5 (non recurring), but you can pay more if you wish.
Once you become a friend you will be sent regular updates about Dream-A-Way's successes, and will have access to exclusive friends events.
Regular newsletters and updates will be sent to you, and posted on this website to keep you informed of our progress.
Remember:
Dream-A-Way is one of only a very small number of charities where almost every penny of every pound raised is used directly to pay for the holidays and outings that our clients enjoy.
No one on the committee or any of the Trustees claim any expenses or take any payments of any kind. We are all working as volunteers.
