The fascinating anecdotal tales are illustrated as before by the author's own sketches, cartoons and photographs Also included are memories of policing in London, Surrey and the return to Devon and Cornwall in a senior management position. The book concludes with examples of his law enforcement experiences overseas in the USA, Spain and South Africa.
Like his first two books, there are humourous accounts of policing in rapidly changing times of the latter part of the 20th Century. The social history of the time is also captured in an interesting and readable manner.
