What a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend!
Live music, sunshine and smiles everywhere.
Particularly down at the PROSPECT INN on the Quay, Exeter where landlord Mark Cameron presented three nights of fantastic live entertainment, with the Soul Agents on Friday, Thick as Thieves on Saturday and Diamond Dogz on Sunday.
All performed under the historic fish quay overlooking the River Exe.
Crowds of people, including many families enjoyed these local bands without having to pay an entrance fee!
Dream-A-Way would like to offer sincere thanks to Mark and his team for their hard work in trying to keep the queues down, to these amazing bands for their performances and to Heavitree Brewery for hosting this weekend of fun.
Dream-A-Way would like to also thank David and Marion Scott, David and Juanita Turner and Angus Salmon
for collecting money from the audiences and for raising a staggering amount.
Our volunteers worked hard to sell draw tickets for the South East Devon community raffle 2007,
for which Dream-A-Way will receive the full value of each ticket our volunteers sell.
On Friday 63 tickets were sold, Saturday 25, and Sunday 60, bringing the total to £148
Collecting buckets raised £117.05 on Friday, £268.86 on Saturday and £566.96 on Sunday, making a total of £952.87
Further great news was received when featured band Thick As Thieves kindly donated a further £65,
bringing the weekend's grand total to a massive
£1165.87!
