Tesco Plymouth Opening
A TESCO Metro store in Plymouth City Centre recently donated £500 to the face of Dream-A-Way charity, Nicole Biddulph.
The donation came after the store's revamp and Nicole, aged 11, helped celebrate by cutting the ribbon to the new-look shop.
Alex Slatter, store manager, said: "We are delighted to donate to Dream-A-Way, it is a fantastic charity."
The Exeter-based charity helps local people with physical and learning difficulties to fulfil lifetime dreams. Jeff Merrett, chairman for Dream-A-Way said: "I would like to thank the store for this generous donation. The money will go towards a coach trip for 49 people with disabilities and their carers to Morwellham Quay, near Tavistock, in September."
